What is involved?
We generally first try to identify the specific virus or viruses infecting your system in order to choose the most effective removal method. We may use one of several anti-virus/anti-malware utilities that will scan your computer and attempt remove all infections. For some viruses, we may manually locate and remove the various components. If there is only a single infection on your system, it is usually possible to remove the virus without making any other changes to your system. However, this is not always possible, especially with particularly nasty viruses or a system with multiple infections. In these cases, viruses may modify, corrupt, or delete important system components. When this occurs, the only way to completely reverse the damage is to do a complete system reinstall, which takes considerably longer. Our standard rate is $49/hour. Alternatively, we I can do this work for a flat cost of $175. If you would like the flat rate, you must let usme know prior to beginning work. Otherwise, all work will be billed at the hourly rate. Best Buy Geek Squad: $300
